Angel Brides goes Nationwide! Yep we are!!!

For the last year or so, we've been trying to figure out how to get our Angel Brides program nationwide - so many logistics and the like. It seemed almost impossible to be in all places at once. Enter Cheryl, TJ, Tammy and Zach. All looking for help, opening stating "look we're not picky, just trying to make something happen" and it suddenly (and FINALLY) dawned on me!

We can be everywhere but why can't we pack up a box or three of FGM Pixie Dust and send it to them? Goodness knows we've got the inventory - if it's not in use, and if they're able (and willing)to pay the shipping to get to them and back - PERFECT!!!

I took a shot - put the offer out there - and much to my surprise, not only did the recipients respond in such a lovely and positive manner, but I also noticed that a couple other planners put a similar offer out there. Not opening offering the kitchen sink so to speak, but something, and really that's what Angel Brides is truly all about - everyone doing something for anyone they can. While ultimately our goal is to have sister planning companies assuming the oh so important role of the Fairy GodMother who coordinates for these oh so special brides, and who shares the story and helps to find those things that we simply cannot package and send.

Paying it forward doesn't have to be a big dramatic thing, it can be a simple joy of sending some leftover runners or fabric or those earrings you never used. The joy in a brides heart when she receives a gift without expectation cannot be described by this Fairy GodMother - I can only describe what it feels like to help make it happen.

I'm so happy to share with you the stories of three amazing brides, and a groom with a heart of gold - and look forward to it as the stories along with the weddings progress.

Stay tuned - first story up is Cheryl from Oregon!

Angel Brides, Interrupted - but never forgotten!

Funny how life gets in the way - seems to happen for us all once in a while, doesn't it? It seems as though our Angel Brides have been hiding as well. Just dealing with life and putting the thoughts of a Happily Ever After on hold...

We are forever telling the Angel Brides story, and finding more and more vendors that want to be be involved. Just this weekend, we even found a venue that is willing to waive their fees for a deserving couple.

Now that wedding season is upon us again, I found myself on the prowl for more brides - where could they be hiding? Hasn't ANYONE seen a bride that needs help lately?

Well, I'm happy to say I have found not just one, but TWO amazing young women who simply want to get married! I'm so excited to hear more about their stories, get to know them and make their wedding dreams come true!

Please, if you hear of a couple who is struggling to make their wedding happen, send them our way - as we always say - we can't always do everything for everyone, BUT we can always do something for everyone!

Until next time =) Erin
